“My husband and I grew up as neighbors, but didn’t start dating until a few weeks after I turned 16. We dated for about 2 and a half years while I was still in high school, and he became what I call my “high school sweetheart.” Then on July 15, 2016 he surprised me by taking me up to the Logan LDS temple to watch the sunset and he proposed. He picked the perfect ring from S.E. Needham Jewelers. We then went to work planning the wedding and married 2 months later. The wedding planning was crazy! I asked all of my husband’s sisters to be my bridesmaids, and I asked my sister to be my maid of honor. About a month from the wedding I tried on about 20 dresses at Petals and Promises. The first dress I tried on ended up being the perfect dress. I found the perfect jewelry and veil to match. Then I found my light blue laced shoes (my something blue) online to match the beautiful design of my dress. September 23 could not come fast enough, we were so excited! I woke up the morning of my wedding and it was down pouring. One of my family friends, who is a beautician, came and did my hair and makeup early that morning. My family and I then headed up to the temple in the pouring rain. My wedding flowers by Dahlia Event Planning were so beautiful. My husband and I came outside of the temple doors and luckily the storm lightened up so we could enjoy our family. We were both so excited to see everyone that was close to us. Once we started taking pictures it started to rain again (of course), but my mom and mother-in-law saved the day with cute plum umbrellas for our pictures! We had Aggie Ice-cream Creamery Cater the reception food with mine and my husbands favorite ice-cream flavors. I wouldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day, that I will be able to share with my husband and loved ones forever. He is my always and forever, and my guardian angel. Love is so sweet.”
