Wedding Gown Shopping During COVID19? We Have Some Tips!

We are living through difficult times and we know many brides have had to reschedule their weddings, our hearts go out to you! We want to be here for you when you need us and make finding a wedding gown during these trying times not only enjoyable but safe for you, our staff, and our community. We have a few tips to help you find the dress of your dreams during the COVID19 pandemic:

1. Look at Gowns Online First
Work on bulking up your wedding Pinterest board while finding what style of gown you like! You can even pin gowns directly from our website to your Pinterest board to save all of your favorites in one place. Having a style in mind coming into your appointment helps us have a starting point on which gowns to try first, even if you end up choosing a gown totally different than what you initially envisioned.

2. Book an Appointment
Booking an appointment ensures as soon as you arrive we have a consultant ready to assist you. This helps us limit the number of guests in the store and helps to protect you and our staff. At Petals and Promises we are currently operating by appointment only but make it very easy to book with us! You can book an appointment directly from our site by clicking here or by calling us at 435-753-8022.

3.Limit Your Number of Guests at Your Appointment
Limit the number of guests you bring to your appointment to no more than 2. Keeping the number of guests small helps to protect yourself, your guests and our team. We have always recommended small groups as this provides an intimate setting where you can ensure your opinions, as the bride, are heard. We understand that this may be different than what you had originally planned which bring us to our next tip…

4.Take Advantage of Technology
Have more than 2 guests you want to include in your gown shopping experience? Take advantage of video calls! Use FaceTime, Skype, etc. to include all those special to you during your appointment. We’ve had many brides do this so far and we love the idea!

5. Just Have Fun!
Though planning a wedding and gown shopping may look a little different right now, stay positive and have fun with it! Years from now you won’t look back and wish this experience was any different, you’ll remember how much love you felt during this time and will cherish your wedding day regardless!
