“During Christmas break, Jake told me his whole family was going to his cabin in Bear Lake, but when we arrived, it was only us and the cabin was decorated with romantic lights and candles. He sat me down to read a letter, then he got down on his knee and proposed! Not more than a week later, my mom and I came into Petals & Promises where I found my absolute dream dress – even though I nearly refused to try it on because I never imagined it could look good on me!” -Maren

Jake and Maren met through mutual friends. After their first date together last spring, they never saw anyone else and fell in love rather quickly. They ended up having to spend this last school year apart, only seeing each other on weekends, while Jake finished school at Utah State to prepare for medical school, and Maren attended her first year of BYU Law School. The two are so happy to finally live in the same town and even better… the same house! The couple married on May 20,2016 in the Logan, Utah temple, followed by a backyard celebration.
