Morgan & Kaleb || Petals & Promises Bride

“Kaleb and I are high school sweethearts! We met while attending Mountain Crest High. I was a sophomore and he was a junior. We were in the same seminary class, and immediately became best friends. I thought I was quite convincing with all my hints that I liked him more than just a friend, but he didn’t pick up on that quite as fast as I had hoped. We started dating that next year, and spent every second we could together. Kaleb also doesn’t like to admit this, but I asked him on our first date to a girl’s choice dance. We dated throughout my junior and his senior year. Kaleb played soccer all throughout high school, and I was there for every game. After one of his games, he opened his mission call which was to Knoxville, Tennessee! He left later that summer in July of 2014. Saying goodbye was the hardest thing I’ve had to do. As he served his mission faithfully, we emailed every week while I waited for him. He returned with honor on July 21, 2016; which was the best day of my life up to that point. I anxiously waited at the airport for him to come down the escalator; when I saw him for the first time in 2 years, I had the cheesiest smile and felt complete again (real cheesy, I know, but so true!). I went over to his house later that night to spend time with him and his family, and ever since that night, we’ve been inseparable. He proposed at the park where we had said “see you soon” before he left for his mission over 2 years prior, on October 6, 2016; which then became the best day ever. Soon after, we got married in the Logan Temple on December 30, 2016, which will forever be the best day of our lives. He truly is my better half, my everything, and sweetheart. Marrying your best friend is truly the biggest blessing. We couldn’t be happier, and are so excited to spend eternity with each other!”
